  1. The Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 3-1 Sunday but lost 3 out of 4 to the Braves in the series. 
  2. UCLA beat Coastal Carolina 27-13 Saturday night at the Rose Bowl. 
  3. Colorado beat TCU 45-42 Saturday in Deion Sanders’ first game as the head coach at Colorado. 
  4. Temple City receiver Judah Douglas caught 7 passes for 175 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 41-23 win over Alhambra Friday night. 
  5. Former Downey quarterback Aidan Chiles came on late in the fourth quarter for Oregon State and led the offense on a touchdown drive in a 42-17 win over San Jose State Sunday. 
  6. Due to a dispute with Disney Spectrum subscribers are not able to watch all Disney channels, including ESPN and ABC and missed the UCLA-Coastal Carolina game Saturday night and the Florida St.-LSU game on Sunday. 
  7. The Braves have the best record in baseball at 90-46. 
  8. Former El Monte running back Davon Booth had 8 carries for 33 yards for Utah State in a 24-14 loss to Iowa Saturday. 
  9. Northview vs. Covina at Covina District Field, Friday night 7:00 p.m. 
  10. Damien beat Damien (Hawaii) 59-29 Saturday in Hawaii. The Spartans improved to 3-0 with the victory.

    Number 8, Judah Douglas is special he has everything you want in a player, he has the speed, route running, and can jump up and go get it.

    Teams are placed in Divisions based on their CalPreps ratings at the end of season. Period . Teams will find themselves in relatively higher divisions by winning close games , or lower divisions by losing close games. .
    However , what division they have been in historically or what division you think they are or should be in doesn’t matter .

    Teams that will do well in the playoffs. D4 and D5 teams that get pushed down to D7 and D8. Team that are one and done in the playoffs D10 and D9 teams pushed up to D7 and D6.

    Judah Douglas had 175 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns. He is one to watch!
