  1. Number 1 seeds – NCAA Men’s Tournament: East-UConn, South-Houston, Midwest-Purdue, West- North Carolina.
  2. USC and UCLA both missed the NCAA Tournament.
  3. Four Pac 12 teams made the tournament – Arizona, Washington State, Oregon, Colorado.
  4. Long Beach State fired head coach Dan Monson six days ago and then allowed him to coach in the Big West Tournament. Long Beach State then won the Big West Tournament and received an NCAA Tournament bid.
  5. Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald announced his retirement Friday after 10 NFL seasons.
  6. The Rams signed quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a one-year deal to backup Matthew Stafford.
  7. Quarterback Russell Wilson signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the veteran’s minimum salary of $1.21 million. The Steelers then traded quarterback Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles for four draft picks.
  8. The Chicago Bears traded quarterback Justin Fields to the Steelers for a 2025 sixth round pick.
  9. Duquesne received its first NCAA Tournament in bid in 47 years after beating VCU to win the Atlantic 10 Tournament Sunday.
  10. Azusa Pacific vs. Cal State San Bernardino, Monday 7:00 p.m. at Cal State LA – NCAA Division II Tournament West Regional Championship.
