  1. Former Rams quarterback Roman Gabriel, who won the NFL MVP in 1969, passed away Saturday at the age of 83. 
  2. The Lakers lost to the Denver Nuggets 114-103 Saturday in the Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference NBA Playoffs.  
  3. The Clippers, playing without Kawhi Leonard, beat the Dallas Mavericks 109-97 Sunday in Game 1 of their first round Western Conference playoffs series. 
  4. The LA Kings open the NHL playoffs Monday at Edmonton in Game 1 of the best of seven series. 
  5. New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, who is currently on the trading block, is skipping the team’s voluntary workouts.   
  6. The Chargers signed running back JK Dobbins to a one-year contract. 
  7. The Dodgers beat the New York Mets 10-0 Sunday but lost two out of three in the series. The Dodgers also lost two out of three to the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres making it the first time the Dodgers have lost all three series on a homestand since 2011. 
  8. Duke point guard Jeremy Roach, who spent four years with the Blue Devils before entering the transfer portal, announced his commitment to Baylor. 
  9. Sierra Canyon star, Justin Pippen, son of NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, has committed to Michigan. 
  10. The Colony Passing Tournament is set for Saturday June 15.

    11) Trevor Bauer struck out 9 in a row and 14 in total yesterday for the (appropriately enough) Red Devils in Mexican. League yesterday.
    After Tyler G., the Dodger rotation has been injured, adjusting, and wildly inconsistent, thus putting added pressure on mediocre bullpen. Dodgers could sign him for a year for what they pay Ohtani and Yamamoto for a week!
    Image conscious Dodgers will continue to spin pitching wheels , however ….
