  1. The Lakers blew a 20-point lead and lost to the Denver Nuggets 101-99 Monday night in Game 2 of the Western Conference Playoffs. The Nuggets lead the series 2-0. 
  2. Former El Monte star Davon Booth who played at Utah State last year, has entered the transfer portal and will visit Kansas State on Thursday. 
  3. Baseball: Arcadia beat Crescenta Valley 4-1 Tuesday night to clinch a share of the Pacific League title. 
  4. The Dallas Mavericks beat the Clippers 96-93 Tuesday night to even the Western Conference first round playoff series at 1-1.
  5. Baseball: South El Monte beat Arroyo 9-2 Tuesday to clinch a share of the Mission Valley League title for the first time since 2016.  
  6. New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone was ejected in the first inning of Monday’s game with the Oakland A’s by Hunter Wendelstedt when a fan sitting behind the Yankees dugout said something to the umpire after Boone had been warned by Wendelstedt to keep quiet. 
  7. Former USC receiver Kyle Ford, who played at UCLA last year, is transferring back to USC. 
  8. The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to contract extensions with head coach Andy Reid, GM Brett Veach and president Mark Donovan.

  10. Softball: Temple City beat La Canada 3-0 Tuesday to wrap up an undefeated Rio Hondo League Season. The senior class finished 48-0 in league with 4 Rio Hondo League titles.

    None other than the great Robert Horry stated that Lebron’s isolation plays cost the Lakers this game. Lebron let off steam by ordering double helpings from the senior menu at a posh Denver eatery.
