  3. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford reported to camp after a contract adjustment. 
  4. LeBron James scored 20 points to lead Team USA to a 92-88 victory over Germany Monday night in London. 
  5. The Minnesota Vikings signed OT Christian Darrisaw to a four-year, $77 million extension.
  6. The Baltimore Orioles have the best record in the American League with a record of 60-39 going into Tuesday night’s action. 
  7. The Miami Heat beat the Memphis Grizzlies 120-118 in overtime Monday to win the NBA summer league championship in Las Vegas. 
  8. The 2024 Summer Olympics start this Friday July 26 in Paris. 
  9. On this day in 1978 Billy Martin resigned as the manager of the New York Yankees after he said of outfielder Reggie Jackson and owner George Steinbrenner “The two of them deserve each other- one’s a born liar, the other’s convicted.”  
  10. Former Utah Jazz star/ Hall of Famer Karl “Mailman” Malone turns 61 today.
