  2. The Rio Hondo Prep-Maranatha game originally scheduled for Friday night September 6 has been moved to Saturday night September 7 at Kare Park. 
  3. Noah Lyles won the gold medal for the U.S. in the Men’s 100m Sunday at the Paris Olympics. 
  4. The Dodgers beat the Oakland A’s 3-2 Sunday and took two out of three in the three-game series. 
  5. The United States leads the medal count at the Paris Olympics with 71. China is second with 45 and France is third with 44. 
  6. Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman’s three-year old son Maximus is home from the hospital after being treated for Guillain-Barre Syndrome. 
  7. The Chicago White Sox have lost 20 straight games after a 13-7 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. 
  8. The U.S. Men’s basketball team will face Brazil Tuesday in the quarterfinals at the Paris Olympics.  
  9. The Miami Dolphins reached an agreement on a restructured deal with wide receiver Tyreek Hill which will pay him $90 million over the next three years with $65 million guaranteed.
