  1. Georgia Tech beat previously unbeaten Miami 28-23 Saturday. 
  2. Former Rams/ USC head coach John Robinson passed away Monday at the age of 89. Robinson went 104-35-4 in two stints at USC and 75-68 with the Rams.   
  3. AP College Football Top 5: 1. Oregon 2. Ohio St. 3. Texas 4. Penn St. 5. Indiana. 
  4. Indiana is 10-0 for the first time in school history. 
  5. The Kansas City Chiefs blocked a potential game winning field goal by the Denver Broncos Sunday to win 16-14 and improve to 9-0 on the season. 
  6. The Miami Marlins have hired Dodgers first base coach Clayton McCullough as their new manager.
  7. AP College Basketball Top 5: 1. Kansas 2. Alabama 3. UConn 4. Gonzaga 5. Auburn. 
  8. Florida State head coach Mike Norvell fired offensive coordinator Alex Atkins, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller and receivers coach Ron Dugans Sunday. Florida State is 1-9 this season after a 52-3 loss to Notre Dame Saturday. 
  9. The kickoff for the USC-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl on November 23 has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. 
  10. Muir at St. Francis, CIF Division 6 playoffs, 2nd Round, Friday night 7:00 p.m.

    Just heard the news that former USC and Rams head coach John Robinson died. He was 89. Rest in Peace.
