    LOL, you are literally crying about 1 transfer. Imagine the waterfall of tears if La Serna got the amount of transfers the only other good teams in the area like La Habra, La Mirada, St Paul, Downey, or Warren get all the time.

    That’s the best part of La Serna’s success, is most of the players spend 4 years in Coach George’s fantastic program with an amazing staff that has over 200 combined years of coaching experience.

    If you have a kid in the area, you would be crazy not to send him to La Serna, where the coaches coach up these kids.

    @Del Rio Watcher, appreciate the kind words about LS. What this program has done really since 2010 is astonishing.

    By the numbers: 2010-2024
    * 15 Straight winning seasons
    * 14 Straight playoff seasons & 1 undefeated
    covid half season.
    * (150-39) Overall Record
    * (33-11) Playoff Record
    * Reached CIF Semifinals 10 of 14 years.
    * Reached CIF Finals 7 of 14 years.
    * Attempting to repeat & win 3rd CIF Title since 2013.

    Since 2019
    * (60-12) Overall
    * (14-3) Playoffs
    * Current 9 game playoff winning streak.
    * Playing in 3rd CIF Final in 5 years.

    What a great team, what a great coaching staff. These guys prove year after year that you don’t need a bunch of transfers to win at a high level. They develop their players.

    Anonymous: LS is a team made up of mercenaries? Money , I suggest, has zero to do with why LS is a definite proven great team if competing at the level in which they compete

    Ive watched a lot of film. This kid has Guerrero has some of the best hands around. Put the ball where he can touch it he will snag it. Completely over looked.

    You literally have a kid whose parents live in Hawaii being housed by a random family in Whittier, the dad even tweets about it almost daily, if that’s not the definition of a mercenary I don’t know what is.

    What would that La Serna team be without mercenaries?

    La Serna , I suggest LS staff and players realize the truth of what a great team they are, and laugh off any and all their haters (well it is very possible that this TEAM of winners has zero team members who pay attention to this blog, and if some do pay attention they know these people who for some reason hate them and LS simply does their talking on the field).

    Congrats to the Dons, Lancers and the one time Del Rio team the Pioneer Titans. El Rancho finally had a Friday night game so I could’nt watch LS football but I read many comments that pretty much says it all. La Serna did what it always does in the playoffs, that is win. No one can deny they are not only a Del Rio Juggernaut but a Califormia Juggernaut.Faced with teams of equal talent they continually dominate. What makes their run more immpressive is that they do it on the road away from the friendly confines of Cal High Stadium. LS haters and their seems to be plenty have to give coach George and crew their due. They are terrific.
    El Rancho was a great watch and nerve racking at times. San Gregornio was loaded with athletes and speed. Several having D1 offers. That said other than the scoreboard El Rancho could have easily won this easier. They still have trouble in the red zone.When their no huddle is clicking they can roll like a tidal wave. This offense clearly wears down defenses. The remedy. Opponents start cramping up on the middle of the field and then lay there for 5 minutes while they get stretched out on the field. This happened last week also. SG was out coached plain and simple. They could not get plays in and their players were out conditioned by The Ranch. Once more into the breach for El Rancho and a CIF final.
