  1. After a 2-1 win over Muir Wednesday the Pasadena Boys soccer team is 17-0. 
  2. The Lakers traded Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, a 2031 unprotected first-round pick and a 2030 pick swap to the Charlotte Hornets for center Mark Willliams. 
  3. The Golden State Warriors acquired Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat for Andrew Higgins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and an unprotected first-round pick. 
  4. Former Shohei Ohtani interpreter Ippei Mizuhara was sentenced Thursday to nearly five years in prison for stealing about $17 million from Ohtani to repay gambling debts. 
  5. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named NFL Most Valuable Player.
  6. Pete Alonso re-signed with the New York Mets for two years, $54 million. 
  7. Virginia Halas McCaskey, who inherited the Chicago Bears from her father George Halas and has owned the team since his death in the 1983, has passed away at the age of 102. 
  8. Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has requested a trade. 
  9. South El Monte’s Fabricio Ocampo, only a junior, has scored 43 goals this season.
  10. Tight end Antonio Gates, cornerback Eric Allen, defensive end Jared Allen and wide receiver Sterling Sharpe are the newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
