1. The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Golden State Warriors 121-110 Wednesday night to win the Western Conference Semi-Finals series in five games. 

2. The Boston Celtics beat the New York Knicks 127-102 Wednesday night in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals. The Knicks still lead the series 3-2. 

3. The Denver Nuggets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-107 Thursday night to even the Western Conference Semi-Finals at 3-3.  

4. Former MLB shortstop Rafael Furcal has been charged in Florida with felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. 

5. Ayala has reinstated head football coach Terrance Smith. 

6. The Colorado Rockies fell to 7-36 on the year after being swept by the Texas Rangers. The Rockies became the first team in baseball’s modern era to lose 36 of their first 43 games. 

7. Catcher Austin Barnes has been designated for assignment by the Dodgers after 11 seasons with the team. Catcher Dalton Rushing has been called up in his place. 

8. Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson plans to buy a 0.1% stake in the Cleveland Browns.

10. Clayton Kershaw will make his season debut Saturday against the Angels. It is Kershaw’s 18th season with the team. The Dodgers beat Oakland 19-2 Thursday night to take two of three from the A’s in the series.
