- The father of Crescenta Valley head football coach Hudson Gossard, Dennis Gossard, has passed away. Dennis Gossard, also known simply as “Coach Goss” coached football for over 55 years for Pasadena City College and Crescenta Valley. Gossard had three different stints as the head coach at PCC and was inducted into the PCC hall of Fame in 2023.

A lot has changed at Poly the last three years with the departure of HC Schmoke and AD .
Old Man Gossard loved the game, he was a coach’s coach. Offense, defense didn’t matter, he knew the game and had lots of success coaching it. Condolences to the family.
