  1. Oklahoma City beat Indiana 120-109 Monday night to take a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals.
  2. The Florida Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 Tuesday night to win the Stanley Cup Final in six games. Sam Rinehart scored four goals in the game and had seven in the series to lead the Panthers to their second consecutive Stanley Cup title.
  3. Downey quarterback Oscar Rios has narrowed his college choices down to UCLA and Arizona and will make his decision June 27.
  4. The Dodgers Shohei Ohtani started and pitched one inning Monday night allowing 2 hits and 1 run in a 6-3 win over the San Diego Padres.
  5. Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton suffered a strained right calf in Game 5 and will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.
  6. Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson is dealing with blood clots in his lower leg head coach Sean McVay said Tuesday.
  7. Arkansas’ Gage Wood threw a no-hitter and struck out 19 in a 3-0 win over Murray St. in the College World Series on Monday.
  8. Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre will be an honorary coach for the American League at the All-Star game in July 15 in Atlanta.
  9. On this day in 1975 Fred Lynn had 10 RBIs to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 15-1 win over the Detroit Tigers.

    They lost to Fillmore in CIF title game . Therefore Fillmore gets top awards in CIF …:what else do you expect from CIF ?

    Pioneer baseball missed on the top CIF awards. They were given to Fillmore even though the Titans beat beat them for the state championship.
