1. Mark Walter purchased a majority ownership of the Lakers for $10 billion. The Buss family will retain just over 15 percent of the team and Jeanie Buss will remain as governor.

2. Indiana beat Oklahoma City 108-91 Thursday night to force a Game 7 in the NBA Finals Sunday night.

3. Northview quarterback Robert Lucero committed to Fresno State. 

4. Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders was cited for driving 101 mph this week. This was the second time Sanders was cited for speeding this month.  

5. Burroughs has named Jason Weatherall as its new head basketball coach. 

6. Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka agreed to a long-term contract extension that will make him one of the highest paid coaches in the NBA.

7. The Baltimore Ravens signed cornerback Jaire Alexander to a one-year deal worth up to a maximum of $6 million Wednesday. 

8. The Dodgers have surpassed 2 million in attendance in just 40 games this season.

9. LSU will face Coastal Carolina in the College World Series. The best of three series begins Saturday. 

10. On this date in 1994 former NFL running back, broadcaster and actor O.J. Simpson was arraigned on murder of Nicole Simpson & Ronald Goldman.

    @ RAMS FAN: I guess it’s all good as long as the fans can make their rent or mortgage payments, buy food, and avoid maxing out their credit cards.

    #8 The Dodgers have adopted the same policy as Disneyland. You keep raising prices until your attendance drops off. Isn’t happening yet at either amusement park. It begs the question. How bad could our economy really be.
