  1. Clayton Kershaw recorded his 3000th career strikeout Wednesday night in the Dodgers 5-4 win over the Chicago White Sox.
  2. Max Muncy suffered a bone bruise in Wednesday night’s game and will be about for about six weeks. An MRI revealed no structural damage.
  3. The Lakers signed center Deandre Ayton to a two-year, 16 million deal.
  4. Glendora QB/DB Brandon Coronado, class of ’27 is transferring to Claremont.

  6. The grounds crew dug out the pitching rubber and presented it to Clayton Kershaw in honor of his milestone after Wednesday night’s game.

  8. The Azusa Clash of the Canyons passing tournament is set for Saturday July 12.
  9. The Dodgers are now 9 games ahead of second place San Diego in the NL West after a 6-2 win over the White Sox Thursday night.
