1. The Dodgers lost to the Angels 6-5 Wednesday night and were swept in the three-game series. The Dodgers are now in second place, one game behind the San Diego Padres in the NL West. 

2. The Dodgers are 12-21 since the Fourth of July when they had a nine game lead over the Padres.

3. Charter Oak will take on Upland Thursday August 28 at 5:00 PM at SoFi Stadium. 

4. Daylan Sumler, son of former Rosemead running back Deon Sumler, will start at cornerback for Colony this season.

5. The Clippers will open the 2025-’26 campaign Wednesday October 22 at Utah.

6. The Dodgers have lost six straight games to the Angels. 

7. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who has been out of training camp with a bad back, will work out with the team Saturday morning. 

8. Veteran NFL running back Matt Breida, who rushed for 2,652 yards in his career, plans to retire after seven seasons. 

9. The Milwaukee Brewers have now won 12 straight games.

10. The Lakers will unveil a statue of former coach Pat Riley outside the arena on February 22 before a game against the Boston Celtics.

    4) This brings to mind that Rosemead used to be good . They were pretty solid even 4 short years ago , finishing 2nd in MVL and winning road playoff game vs established OC program.

    Things have seemingly gotten worse and worse since hiring of the new crew , and yet they return for year number 4. They are now at the bottom in a very mid MVL…::A recent preview stated this was going to be rebuilding year for Panthers …huh? Why would you try to rebuild with the crew that architected the demise ??

    Nobody seems to care .Puzzling
