I counted 23 dressed players for SG and 29 dressed players for WC. SG looked exactly the same on offense, but did come out throwing which didn’t work. Still no kicker that can hit field goals and extra points, so once again they go for it on forth downs. New QB threw two pick sixes, and top running back Mascorro is now in the slot.

Looked at some of the SG game and it looks like they have a couple of good kids but the team is running on 20-40 players depending on how the season is going. I wonder if it’s worth exploring some sort of league mega team for these sorts of struggling programs so that the kids that want to play against good competition at lowered levels get to do so with talented teams and some depth.

Like a bundled Almont league vs a bundled Mission Valley league.

It benefits players, coaches, area competition, scouts, and the general audience.
