Mid Valley High School Football Top 12

Damien’s furious rally late in the game fell a two-point conversion short. Bishop Amat lost as well and dropped one spot. Monrovia fell to South Pasadena for the third consecutive year and dropped out of the Top 12. Rowland jumped into the mix.

  1. Damien (5-1) – Spartans won’t be punished for a two-point loss to Rancho Cucamonga.
  2. Downey (5-1) – Vikings keep on rolling; Mayfair is the latest victim.
  3. Charter Oak (5-1) – Chargers make quick work of Glendora.
  4. Muir (5-1) – Mustangs have plenty of weapons in their arsenal.
  5. Northview (5-1) – Vikings pass a stiff test with Baldwin Park.
  6. Bishop Amat (3-3) – Lancers need a win this week against Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
  7. Rio Hondo Prep (7-0) – Noah Penunuri runs for 261 yards in the Kares big win in Dallas.
  8. Bonita (3-3, 4-2 on field) – Bearcats keep on chugging despite injuries.
  9. La Serna (4-3) – Dominic Herrera’s picks derail El Rancho.
  10. La Canada (7-0) – Spartans have a big game this week at South Pas.
  11. Los Altos (6-0) – Conquerors closest margin of victory is 14 points.
  12. Rowland (6-0) – RAAAIIDERS! RAAAIIDERS!

    If Rowland doesn’t go far in the playoffs, at least they have this placement in the weekly 12 to tell their grandkids about. When those kids ask, they can be told that MidValley Sports was bigger than Sports Illustrated.
