- The Rams beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-19 Sunday at SoFi Stadium to improve to 8-2.
- Orange Lutheran, who lost to St. John Bosco 48-0 on October 10, beat St. John Bosco 20-19 Friday night in the first round of the CIF Division 1 playoffs.
- Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders made his NFL debut Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. He came on in the second half after starter Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion and completed 4 of 16 for 47 yards and with an interception and was sacked twice in a 23-16 loss.

- Former Seattle Seahawks great/ Hall of Famer safety Kenny Easley passed away Friday at the age of 66.
- An independent law firm hired by the NBA has requested records from individuals and teams as part of the league’s investigation into the illegal gambling allegations that resulted in the arrests of Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and former player and coach Damon Jones according to ESPN. Multiple teams have been contacted including the Lakers.
