1. Defensive tackle Aaron Donald is coming out of retirement to join the Rams agreeing to a one-year, $20 million deal with playoff incentives that could raise the value to $30 million.
2. Donald, who retired in 2024 after 10 NFL seasons, is a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, an eight-time first-team All-Pro, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection and the 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
3. Baldwin Park’s Jacory Coleman had two receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns and also had 70 yards rushing on five carries in a 45-8 win over Rowland Friday night.
4. The Cleveland Browns kept quarterbacks Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders and rookie Taylen Green and placed Dillon Gabriel on injured reserve.
5. Nogales running back Gatsbee Gumban has rushed for 341 yards and five touchdowns in the first two games averaging over 13 yards per carry.
6. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made the New York Giants official 53-man roster.
7. The Tennessee Titans waived waived quarterback Will Levis on Sunday.
8. Pete Crow-Armstrong hit three home runs to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 17-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds Saturday. With two more home runs Sunday Crow-Armstrong now has 38 home runs and 91 RBIs this season.
9. Asir Nembhard scored three touchdowns to lead Mater Dei to a 32-26 win over Orem, Utah Friday night.
10. Curacao beat Nevada 11-2 Sunday to win the Little League World Series title.
