(San Gabriel) – How do you improve on a CIF Finals appearance? Well there’s always a CIF Finals victory. The skill position players are in place They always seem to be at San Gabriel. Junior Marqus Valenzuela has taken over at quarterback after a terrific summer. He is joined by Temple City transfer Mikal Quintanilla.

LP’s Barrientos Buries Lions

  (La Puente)- La Puente running back Nicholas Barrientos rushed for 174 yards and a pair of second half touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a 35-21 victory over the El Monte Lions Thursday night at McIntosh Field.
