1—The Los Angeles Kings beat the Seattle Kraken, 5-3, Monday night in Seattle to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the fifth consecutive season. The win was also their fifth in a row.
2—Dodgers beat the Mets, 4-0, on Monday night. Justin Wrobleski went eight innings for Los Angeles, threw 90 pitches, and allowed only two hits.
3—“I don’t think 65 games is a lot to ask. Shut the hell up. Y’all voted on that in the collective bargaining [agreement], now y’all want to complain. If y’all weren’t sitting on your ass half the time sipping margaritas and stuff, they wouldn’t have put the 65-game threshold in there. Shut the hell up.”—Charles Barkley
4—Five UCLA Bruins go in the first round of the WNBA Draft.
Lauren Betts, Gabriela Jaquez, Kiki Rice went 4th-6th overall. Angela Dugalic went 9th, and Gianna Kneepkens went 15th.
