LadyCats Comeback Make it Back-to-Back

(Monrovia) – For three quarters La Canada managed to hold star senior guard Gina Henderson to just one point heading into the final quarter leading by two points. Henderson however, took control of the final stanza to lead Monrovia to its second consecutive Rio Hondo League title, with a 48-43 win.

Wildcats Victorious Over Lancers

By Josh Lowden (West Covina) – President Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”  Those words could describe the Monrovia play as they scored five runs on only six hits in a 5-2 victory over La Salle Friday Afternoon in the Charter Oak Tournament.
