LadyCats Comeback Make it Back-to-Back

(Monrovia) – For three quarters La Canada managed to hold star senior guard Gina Henderson to just one point heading into the final quarter leading by two points. Henderson however, took control of the final stanza to lead Monrovia to its second consecutive Rio Hondo League title, with a 48-43 win.

(Monrovia) – The Wildcats took advantage of a young La Canada team to race out to a 20-7 first quarter lead and cruised to a 60-48 win.

Apaches Manage Third

(El Monte) – Arcadia bounced back quickly after a tough loss last night to defeat Monrovia 59-38 for third-place in the Lady Knights Classic at Arroyo High School.

Lancers in Tournament Finals for Fourth Straight Year

(El Monte) –  The anticipated match-up of former Bishop Amat guard Gina Henderson versus the Lancers failed to live up to the hype with Bishop Amat dismantling Monrovia 57-26 in the semi-finals of the Arroyo Lady Knights Tournament.
