I’ve never been to Orlando, but I played high school ball with a southpaw named Orlando Duran…and for a while I sorta of liked Tony Orlando…I’m down with Orlando Hudson…Orlando Pace was a Hall of Famer for the Rams…and I think in this series I’m going to root for Orlando…

Whatever the case, Cleveland better get a whole lot more than five points out of its bench in Game Two…

What happened to the Dodger collapse? What happened to Andy Villathedevil’s comment: “Who have they played?”

Michael Vick served his time, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell needs to let him back in the league and fast track Vick to his next screw up…

I think local schools should hold off on all Geography Bees until the baseball/softball playoffs…Most people can find Chicago on the map, but think of what can be learned searching for Santa Ynez, Yucaipa, Barstow, Hemet, Cabrillo, Pacific, Cajon…it boggles the mind.

And before we all bag on CIF, remember it is the schools that give CIF authority. If the schools don’t like it, they need to say so…

I was impressed with the energy I saw at the Temple City workouts this week, but equally impressed by the style and approach at South El Monte.
