Post Week One Playoffs…
1.) La Mirada (9-1): Anything less than a CIF title…and the season is a loss.
2.) La Serna (10-1): Ditto…Did they already play their bad game against Cal or is it looming?
3.) Norwalk (8-2): Have to be careful so as not to be so focused on La Mirada that they forget on Downey.
4.) Downey (8-3): This is truly the under the radar team after winning its first playoff game of the 21st. Century last week.
5.) West Covina (6-5): …And here they come.
6.) Muir (8-3): More to these Mustangs than just athleticism and are eager to prove it.
7.) Dominguez (6-5): If the Dons defeat La Serna this week the Southeast football world stops revolving, spinning, slowly down to die.
8.) Santa Fe (6-5): The Chiefs are like a Bon Jovi song…”Livin on a Prayer”
