1. Laker GM Mitch Kupchak says Dwight Howard is the team’s future.

4. Last Saturday former Temple City Ram Calvin Copping threw 6.1 innings to get the win for Cal State Northridge 8-3 over St. Mary’s. On Sunday brother Corey Copping threw seven innings and allowed just two hits for Oklahoma in a 7-4 win over Hofstra.
5. Dwight Howard scores 24 points and grabs 12 rebounds to lead the Lakers to a 113-99 win over Boston Wednesday night. It was the Lakers first game since the death of owner Dr. Jerry Buss.
