Quarterback Nico Iamaleava, linebacker JonJon Vaughns and offensive lineman Garrett DiGiorgio represented UCLA at Big Ten Media Days last week along with second year head coach DeShaun Foster.
The Bruins are picked to finish 15th out of 18 Big Ten teams after going 5-7, (3-6 in conference) last year. Foster was not deterred however as he spoke positively about UCLA’s recruiting and of the 20th ranked transfer class overall.
He also spoke highly of Iamaleava, a transfer from Tennessee. He said he is an elite quarterback who chose to come back home and help build something special at UCLA. The Bruins kick off the 2025 campaign on August 30. Here is the complete schedule.
8/30 Utah
9/6 at UNLV
9/12 New Mexico
9/27 at Northwestern
10/4 Penn State
10/11 at Michigan State
10/18 Maryland
10/25 at Indiana
11/8 Nebraska
11/15 at Ohio State
11/22 Washington
11/29 at USC
Looking for same type of 5-7 season . Foster is a great guy , but can’t see the pieces falling together for Bruins . Should be interesting to see how Nico is incorporated into the offense
