brightest side of Pioneer is the terrible division they are in . only my opinion with no claim of knowledge. But they will need a very good hire to replace Juarez’s talent

They don’t control who they schedule in a tournament. That’s up to tournament organizers.

Oh, so now there are levels of the bottom feeders? Whew boy. Then we need more divisions. So according to you teams like South Hills and Rowland are barely making it losers because Pioneer beat them Thanks Einstein.

@? There are divisions within divisions . Within the bottom feeders are the aspiring , the disorganized and the barely making it . The aspiring can accumulate a great record vs the disorganized , and teams that are side thoughts at their schools.
I’m all in favor of building confidence with winnable games , but Pioneer got off to similar start last year before stalling out vs league opponents that could scout and prepare …..Whitney and Oxford Academy are typical well organized and structured squads .
At this point they could benefit from more ambitious preseason schedules

How does Pioneer schedule light if everyone always says they are at the bottom of high school sports?

Pioneer and Monrovia both scheduled extremely light.
Pioneer finally played someone good and losing by 57 is a reality check. Dont expect them to compete for league title but might sneak into playoffs with third place.
Monrovia’s schedule though is downright pathetic and guarantees an 0-10 league finish as they won’t have played any team that would come within 40 of all their league opponents.

Pioneer was already up against it against a very good Amat team and then they get two more huge guys from the sit out period. Still way to go titans.

The thing about Pioneer losing by more points than they scored is that it leaves so much room for rising. Count on me to look at the bright side.
