- LeBron James is reportedly down to three teams as his destination for next season. The top three are Philadelphia, Miami and Cleveland.
- Roch Chowlosky, the UCLA shortstop who was number one pick in the MLB draft last week, has agreed to a contract with the Chicago White Sox that includes a record-breaking $10.35 million signing bonus.
- On this date in 1973 Nolan Ryan threw the second no-hitter of his career in the California Angels 6-0 win over the Detroit Tigers.
- Houston Texans co-founder and senior chair Janice S. McNair passed away Tuesday at the age of 89.
- Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver/ Hall of Famer John Stallworth turns 74 today.
- Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker Charles Snowden has been suspended for the first three games of the 2026 season. The reason for the suspension was not stated, but Snowden reached a plea agreement in January to resolve a DUI arrest from 2024 when he played for the Las Vegas Raiders.
