  4. The Golden State Warriors hired longtime NBA coach Frank Vogel as the associate head coach under Steve Kerr.
  5. On this date in 1995 the Dodgers Ramon Martinez threw a no-hitter in a 7-0 win over the Florida Marlins.
  6. The Lakers signed forward Ziaire Williams to a one-year, $3 million contract. Williams averaged 10.2 points and 2.4 rebounds for the Brooklyn Nets last year.
