There was a quite a buzz at Marinelli Stadium Friday night. It was again Rosemead-Arroyo, Panthers- Knights, and of course for the Mission Valley League title.

By Tim Peterson (El Monte) – Arroyo’s Jim Singiser is entering his 13th year as the head coach of the Knights. And while his face will be familiar as he patrols the sidelines on Friday nights there will be several other new faces on the Knights coaching staff.

Whittier College Tournament: A Few More Shots…

16 schools participated in the Whittier College Tournament Saturday. Some local, and some from other area codes. In the end La Habra beat Buena Park 26-14 in the final. Buena Park went 7-1 and beat Sonora in the semi finals. La Habra went 7-0 and beat El Rancho in the semis. Here’s a few more shots.
