(El Segundo) – The Chargers were out at the Bolt Saturday in El Segundo as their training camp continued. Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh held a press conference prior to Saturday’s practice and shared a few thoughts.

“You drive in at 6:30 in the morning and there’s a lot of people waiting to watch us play football. It just fires you up on all levels. It’s a great day to make it a great day” – On the fans at camp.
“Super great with Oronde (Gadsden), He just needs to keep building, stacking.” – On tight end Oronde Gadsden.
“There are four really highly capable players, four really good NFL players. Oronde (Gadsden) Charlie (Kolar) David (Njoku) and Scott (Matlock), those four. In the preseason games it will give us a window of insight as to where everybody is.” – On the Tight End room.

“We Just want to see more of who he is. He’s been incredible. Some players show that they belong and then they get the confidence of how far they can take it. Tarheeb is player who showed he belonged right away.” On cornerback Tarheeb Still.

“They just need them to show that they belong and they’re going to let it rip. some guys will rise to the top…cream rises…and some will melt like butter in a toaster.” On players that will be playing in their first preseason game.

‘We have a plan for the first preseason game. the vets will play two series in the second preseason game and then hopefully three series in the third preseason game.” On the upcoming preseason games.
The Chargers will travel to Houston to play the Texans Thursday night in the first preseason game. Here are a few more shots:
