(San Luis Obispo, CA) – Pasadena opened up a 37-16 halftime lead but needed sets of free throws in the final minute from Carl Robinson and John John Haywood to stave off a second half rally by Price and win 52-49 Monday.
With the victory, Pasadena advanced to the National Division Championship of the Mission Prep Christmas Classic Tuesday night at 8:00 PM versus LA City Section powerhouse Taft.
The Bulldogs received support throughout the lineup and were led by junior center/shooting guard Blake Hamilton with 12 points.
Senior guard Kenny Green and junior forward Skylar Spencer piloted the Knights’ late surge by combining for 30 second half points.
