Primetime Elite Vargas 12 U won the AFA Travelball Tournament in Hemet
(Hemet) – Primetime Elite Vargas, a local travel ball team, won the AFA Travel ball Tournament in Hemet in June and earned a trip to the Nationals in July.
The team, consisting of mainly 12 year old girls, features seven girls that played for the El Monte Fillies. Primetime was perfect in Hemet, winning all seven games they played including two that were stopped early due to the mercy rule.
The girls capped off the tournament with a 13-3 victory in the championship game.
