1.) El Monte quarterback Brandon Martinez leads the Lions in rushing with 433 yards.

2.) Azusa’s Desmond Reed (Rushing: 569 yards, 10 TD. Receiving: 164 yards, 1 TD. Kickoff Returns: 118 yards.)

3.) Jose “Nacho” Zamora and Ignacio “Nacho” Castanada of Mt. View have combined for 1157 yards and 13 touchdowns.

4.) Maranatha’s Omar Younger has rushed for 676 yards and six touchdowns.

5.) South Hills Alum Ify Umodu had eight receptions for 80 yards for Northern Arizona last Saturday.

6. Mike Stoops record in 7 plus seasons at Arizona was 41-50.

7.) Lane Kiffin is 12-6 in 18 games at USC. Pete Carroll was 10-8 after his first 18.

8.) Texas Ranger Nelson Cruz.

9.) The San Francisco 49ers’ 48-3 rout of Tampa Bay Sunday was the franchise’s most lopsided victory since a 55-10 win over Denver in Super Bowl XXIV on January 28, 1990.

10.) On this date in 1960, the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the New York Yankees in game seven of the World Series when Bill Mazeroski hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the ninth off of Ralph Terry. It was the first time a World Series had ended via the long ball.
