Mid Valley Sports confirms it Has not seen Wardell Crutchfield coach DB's at BP this summer

By Joe Torosian

Good Morning!

T-minus-56 until “The Mid Valley Classic”

Nice performance last night Dodgers, I knew the first 88-games were only a fluke… And the Angels keep hitting home runs…

Talk to some people in the know and they will tell you, way beyond his impressive record at Duarte, Wardell Crutchfield is a master at coaching up young defensive backs… “Nobody better,” one scout told us.

I have a ‘Dead Period” its called: ESPN Trying to Make Me Care About David Beckham

Stuck in a hospital room yesterday I was forced to watch Around the Horn…Why bother with water-boarding? Just make terrorists, criminals, & Barbara Boxers watch this show…I felt I was being conditioned like something out of A Clockwork Orange… How do they spend 15-minutes seriously discussing the British Open?

(Get all excited and go to a yawning festival…)

In fairness, PTI is tolerable.

Is the recession the only reason 23,000 came out to see the Galaxy last night in New York?

The Dangerously Obligatory Andy Villathedevil Question of the Day: Was the poor attendance because of the economy or because MLS soccer…Oh I don’t know…Sucks?

In twelve seasons back in prep football this axiom has emerged truthful…at least 75 to 80 percent of the time…never trust a sophomore…

In Yahoo sportswriter Steve Henson’s “exclusive” on Manny’s first game back at Dodger Stadium he is coming to the conclusion public sentiment towards PED users is shifting…Mmm? Wow!…Remember the great expression when we were kids that went something like: No -blank- Sherlock…?

Born Again? Laker long shot, NBA draft bust, Adam Morrison is averaging 20.8 per game in Las Vegas… Europe beckons…

Few things get better than the angry Matt Koffler email so lets get to it. I like Arroyo to win the Mission Valley League…There, you dragged it out of me…

Do I doubt Koffler and the staff at Rosemead? No.

Do I doubt the talent they have returning? No.

Do I doubt they will make it through their first five games (which looks like a football death march) healthy enough to rumble in the MVL? Yes.

South Hills, Harvard-Westlake, along with M-Town, TC, and Covina have a way of taking a toll on the body…

I’ll repeat the question to the SG faithful: Do the renovations to Keith Jones Stadium at John Scanlan Field include better parking…or at least a second exit?

Stay thirsty my friends…
