The Eagles (6-2, 2-1) maintained their playoff hopes going into next week’s North-South Showdown against El Monte by shutting out the Vikings (3-5, 0-3) Friday night at South El Monte High.
Fernando Ramirez, the Eagles’ quarterback, threw four touchdowns as part of his 337 yards of offense in the air, giving up only an interception all night.
