2.         Chris Solomon 306 yards and five touchdowns against La Mirada.

3.         La Serna defense hold Muir to three points in 28-3 victory.

4.         OJ Medina gains 151 yards and two touchdowns in Southeast semi-final.

5.         West Covina drops 63 on La Mirada.

6.         Tim Tebow throws for 202 yards and two touchdowns to beat Vikings and take Broncos to a tie for first place in the AFC West.

7.         On this day in 1982 Mel Gray ended an NFL streak of 121 consecutive games with receptions.

8.         Dodgers sign Chris Capuano (57-64 in his career) to a two year 10 million dollar contract.
