Keppel Expected to Tab D.J. Williams: Updated

(Alhambra) – Keppel is expected to name D.J. Williams as its new head football coach sources confirmed Tuesday. Williams would be taking over for Bobby Madrid who resigned after the 2011 season.

“We are planning to announce a name very soon,” said Keppel Athletic Director Mark Garcia Wednesday. “There are a few details that need to be completed before the formal announcement.”

Williams, who has been coaching locally for the last few years, and also spent some time at Pasadena City College, played at Azusa Pacific University.
