Kick it!

The Kings are awesome…I haven’t been this excited about the Kings since Sam Lacey and Tiny Archibald were making it happen for them.

For some reason I just want to say South Pasadena! Watch the Tigers in 2012…They are ready to pop.

Yes, yes, more taxes please!

A broken record is a broken record it just keeps going and going and going…Just like the defenders and advocates for LeBron James who continue to swear up and down, side to side, and from here to Pluto that he is one of the greatest players of all time.

They admit he’s not the greatest shooter, he’s not the greatest passer, not the greatest closer…So what is he other than a three time league MVP who wilts instead of blooms when the moment comes?

I feel like a broken record for saying this. James is a very good player…Very good…He’s Charles Barkley, he’s Clyde Drexler, he’s David Robinson…all very good, near great players…

LeBron is not Kobe Bryant, he’s not Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, he’s not Larry Bird, he’s not Michael Jordan, and he most certainly is not (by a long shot) Magic Johnson. Those guys never disappeared, those guys rose to the moment, James doesn’t.

For all of the unemployed out there…I have great news. Former St. Louis Rams first round draft pick Alex Barron got a job with the Seattle Seahawks…And Barron is about as stiff as a professional football player can be…He makes Big Tony look like a member of the Bolshoi Ballet…So cheer up if you don’t have job, cheer up if your crazy Uncle Chico is down on his luck…Alex Barron got a job…anything is possible.

Dominique Lord getting ready for a comeback at Maranatha…

I love football season, we’re not even out of May and I’ve already alienated the El Monte and Maranatha programs…

You see the things I go through for believing in Whittier Christian?

Always envisioned myself as more of an astronaut than cosmonaut…

Chicago Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood is finally retiring. Actually I thought he retired 16 disabled list trips ago.

I’m being told I need to believe in Whittier… “Whittier College?” I ask…No, Whittier High School…the Cardinals…I’m open to illumination. Tough to get past Santa Fe and La Serna.

So many studs, so many stars, how many CIF finals has La Mirada played in since coming to the Southeast Division?

Exactly…

I remember what people were saying when the Suburban arrived with the Matadores and what it would do to the balance of power.

“Not one, not two, not three…”

Yeah, yeah, been there done that, bought that tee shirt.
