5. Former St. Louis Cardinal Lou Brock turns 73 today.

6. Miami beats Oklahoma City 91-85 to take a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals.

7. Former USC safety Kevin Ellison arrested on federal arson charges.

8. On this day in 1975 Boston Red Sock Fred Lynn drives in 10 rbi’s.

9. In 1943 due to WWII the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers combined and played under the name of Steagles.

    Fred Lynn did that in 1975. In 1985 he was a member of the Baltimore Orioles.
