Whittier Christian Herald’s wide receiver Cody Bronkar verbally committed to the Air Force Academy on Friday night. Bronkar, 6-3, 180, caught 67 passes as a junior for 893 yards and seven touchdowns in 2011. As a sophomore in 2010 he had 60 receptions for 754 yards and nine touchdowns.
“I was completely amazed with the campus, coaches, and atmosphere that the Air Force Academy has to offer,” said Bronkar. “I’ve decided to verbally commit now because the opportunity with the Air Force Academy is phenomenal and I can’t think of another place that I would like to attend that compliments the career path that I would like to pursue.”
