2. Cincinnati Reds minor league Billy Hamilton steals record 146th base.

3. Miami Dolphins name rookie Ryan Tannehill starting quarterback.

4. 50 year old Roger Clemens signs with the Sugar Land Skeeters of the Independent Atlantic League.

5. St. Paul at La Mirada Friday night August 24.

6. Junior Seau had no alcohol or illicit drugs in his system at the time of his death and an initial examination of his brain shows no apparent damage.

7. Covina receiver Evan Stretton 2011 stats – junior year: Receiving: 14-142 yards, 1TD, 12.9 avg., long-23.

8. Of the 69 touchdowns Covina scored last year, only two were scored by returning players.
