Valle Vista League Standings

Valle Vista League Standings & Stuff

Stuff:

San Dimas Saints: Prance for two, dance in three, and then flattens in the fourth. This is the Saints modus operandi for football.

Northview Vikings: N-View doesn’t think its a show, they think it’s a fight.

Covina Colts: Shazeb Mallick…Great name.

Nogales Nobles: Sebastian Hernandez is hearing the M*A*S*H theme song in his head.

Wilson Wildcats: Take care of business against Nogales and it should be rated as a successful season.

Pomona Red Devils: Can really cause some problems with a win over C-Town.

Baldwin Park Braves: Have lost 16 straight, and have not won a Valle Vista game since 2010.

The Northview Nightmare; Javon Taylor

Awwe dang Greenie – Northview didn’t play your Cats or Bonita (hey, both Cat’s)-
    @ Ontario (Ontario, CA) 33 – 0
    @ Gladstone (Covina, CA) 19 – 10 Loss
    @ Rowland (Rowland Heights, CA) 27 – 24 Loss
South El Monte (South El Monte, CA) 21 – 6 Win

That’s your difference……. and in League, Northview games have been much tighter so their #1’s have been in my guess most of all games. For SD at least 21 pts and most likely 28 pts in league have been scored with #1’s “supporting” from the sidelines. Big difference.

But no disrespect. Northview has some STUDS on D who are very capable of leading the charge…. (also why their stats are higher as well in terms of tackles, etc). Just sayin’

Having seen both these teams play against us,
I have to say, SD wins big. We had 3 starters out
Vs Northview and still had a chance to win.

We had 3 starters back in lineup vs SD and we weren’t close. San Dimas will win easily…

    Go Colts!!!!

Numbers wise Northview’s defense has been the best in the VVL. Is this true? Can they shut down the “Potent Peyton” and Saints rushing attack? Does Northview cause a matchup problem for the Saints? NV best chance to score, is to get Taylor a lot of touches, but move him around, and use him as a decoy as well. Someone else will have to join the cause to get the upset. The Saints will have to get to and rattle the QB. If they can do this, NV won’t have a shot. I don’t believe that they can line up and run against the saints. I think Taylor has a big night, but they won’t have enough fire power to beat SD

    Saints 38 Vikings 24
