Almont League Standings

Almont League Standings & Stuff

Stuff:

Bell Gardens Lancers: If only every season could end with a trip to Keppel.

Montebello Oilers: Don’t screw it up now…beat Schurr.

San Gabriel Matadors: Three league losses on the final play of the game, a questionable forfeit to Animo, or the Mats are 6-3.

Offensive Line: LT: Antonio Cardenas, LG: Phillip Becerra. C: Michael Diaz, RG: Jimmy Peraza, RT: Josh Baca.

Alhambra Moors: Beat San Gabriel, and you can still hope for a call to the dance.

Schurr Spartans: Stormy seas, dangerous rocks, inconsistent offense, and still the playoffs are within sight.

Keppel Aztecs: Basketball season has arrived.

Montebello DC Brian Zavala’s “Darkside” defense will need to close the playoff deal Friday night against Schurr.

Was referring to regular season, Almont league will not make your program better. BG always represents it’s time to leave the coop. And technically you are down the street from L.A.

BG should consider playing outside the Almont league, just no competition for you guys. You guys have decent size big roster, not sure how that works but for the overall program does playing the Almont teams help you draw players for the future. You are literally just blocks away from attracting “skill players” Time for City ball.
