(Cerritos) – David Fischer rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown and JP Marquez added 75 and a score as Whittier Christain ran over Valley Christian 42-14 Friday night to close out the regular season.
Cody Bronkar hauled in seven catches for 126 yards and a touchdown and Ryan Esslinger had a big day completing 18 of 25 for 207 yards and three touchdowns.
Whittier Christian won the Olympic League crown with a perfect 4-0 record and finished 7-3 overall. The Heralds will get a first round home game in the CIF Northwest Division playoffs. For Valley, it’s see you next year.
