NorRock’s Rashaad Penny
Norwalk’s Rashaad Penny has been named to the All-State Junior team as picked by CalHiSports. Penny was Mid Valley Sports “Player of the Year” for the Southeast Division in 2012.
El Monte’s Brandon Martinez, who will be honored tonight at 6:45 P.M. the El Monte City Council Meeting for his record breaking 2012 season (the Lions team will also receive recognition for its accomplishments), will be making a visit to the campus at Cal Lutheran next week.
A busy week for La Mirada continued with Stanford assistant Mike Sanford visiting today, as did Oregon State assistant, and former NFL quarterback, Matt Cavanaugh. Oregon, UCLA, and Ohio State were among the D-I schools that visited the LM campus this week.
