1. Lousiville junior guard Russ Smith and Indiana junior forward Victor Oladipo to enter the NBA draft.

2. Metta World Peace is back on the court for the Lakers just 12 days after knee surgery.

3. Louisville Coach Rick Pitino is elected to the the Basketball Hall of Fame the same day he becomes the first coach to lead two schools to the national title.

4. The New York Knicks have won 13 straight.

5. The Seattle Seahawks sign Brady Quinn to back up Russell Wilson.

6. Angels right-hander Jered Weaver out at least four weeks with a broken bone in his left elbow.

7. California LB Nick Gonzales 2012 stats, junior year: 47 tackles, 27 assisted, 71 total. 2 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, 3 passes defensed.

8. Santa Fe RB Gabriel Cisneros 2012 stats, sophomore year: Rushing: 127-432 yards, 4TD. Rec: 8-31 yards.
