(Azusa) – Azusa Pacific was out working on Labor Day getting ready for the season opener Saturday at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan. The Cougars are coming off a season in which they went 4-7 overall.
APU is looking forward to a successful season returning a conference high 42 letterwinners from its inaugural season of NCAA Division II competition. After Grand Valley State the Cougars travel to St. George, Utah to take on Dixie State. Their first home game of the year is Saturday September 21 against Humboldt State.
