Rosemead DC Marc Paramo will be feeling a lot better than he looks here Friday night when Mead faces View

Good Evening!

Any truth to the rumor John Scanlan has established www.releasejonathonbroxton.com?

Word is Jamie McCourt is asking not only for half the Dodgers from husband Frank in their pending divorce but also the captial “C” in McCourt.

Proverbial, too upset to see straight, Scanlan question of the Day: What happened to Chad Billingsley? The second half of the season he looked like Pinto trying to go up hill, was he tired? Was he injured? He was hardly a workhorse he didn’t even clear 200-innings this season.

I love the NFL, but my theory is never trust a union. So if they get locked out or take a walk in 2011…I’ve already decided to side with those who assume the risk…the owners.

Of course by 2011 I’m sure the Feds will be stepping in to slash owner and athlete salaries because the money they make offends American values.

Dan Dickau got released by Phoenix…Okay…

On this date in 1993 Crescenta Valley held off a late Pasadena charge 23-21 at Pasadena City College. The Falcons got three field goals from David Fielder, including a 52-yarder, and a 29-yard interception return for a touchdown by Matt Taras to secure the win.

Leading Coach Jack Loos PHS team was Lester Towns (9-carries 113-yards) who scored on a 21-yard touchdown run. The Bulldogs also go scoring runs from Joey Valenzuela (75-yard run) and Dave Shamburger (2-yard run).

Towns would go on to the University Washington and play linebacker for five years in the NFL, including four with the Carolina Panthers.

On the same night at Bergstrom Stadium Arroyo overcame a 21-9 halftime deficit to El Monte and defeated the Lions 29-24. Knights quarterback Gabriel Agredano fired a pair of fourth quarter touchdown passes to spark the comeback. One going 54-yards to current Arroyo offensive coordinator Chris MacMillan (currently up to his neck in Gabrielino game film) and 10-yards to Steve Hernandez.

I’m leaning Temple City in an upset tomorrow night (I know its taking a stand against Mid Valley Karma), but I think they have more ways to beat you.

M-Town’s Nick Bueno can throw, but the Cats aren’t throwing…and maybe they haven’t had to…against the Rams they are going to need an air game.

From Max Ruckle on the ground, to Justin Smith’s legs, to Smith’s arm, to Smith’s receivers; Andrew Torres, Andrew Anda, Brandon Pultz, and David Spratt TC has more.

Factor: Justin Sutton is supposed to be back on the field tomorrow night.

Temple City 28 Monrovia 17.

I’ve laid out a case this week; a Gabrielino victory over Arroyo wouldn’t knock the wind out of my gut.

Walnut-West Covina will be the equivalent of a Texas Death Match in the San Antonio…Its not right but a really good team is going to be left on the outside looking in come playoff time.

I can’t believe the NBA is getting ready to start…I’m not ready to deal with Rajon Rondo again…

Rosemead is going to be okay this week…call it a hunch.

Stay thirsty my friends…
